Risque or no?

My wife recently celebrated her 61st birthday and there was lots of dancing. I took some photos of her dancing and bought a frame to hang on the wall that shows 6 photos stacked vertically.

I intended to put it in my office. Wife is fine with it, but her daughter says no way, the pictures are too risque. What say the Pelicans?

No, not appropriate for an office

I see no problem with it

Heel n Toe 08-12-2015 10:57 PM

There's an obvious question just floating in the air here...

wdfifteen 08-12-2015 11:00 PM

I took down the pics because the consensus is clear, "No, don't put them in your office."
Thanks, it's good to see things from the perspective of others.

Heel n Toe 08-12-2015 11:05 PM

You know your work environment and are best able to decide whether the 6-photo compilation is "okay" or not. You'd have to put yourself in the mind of a client coming into your office.

I don't think they're too risque, but I'd put it in my home office and go for that last one or a headshot for work.

Johnny Carson would say, "wd! You can almost see her tutu in a couple of those shots."

tabs 08-12-2015 11:55 PM

One imagines that in between shots one could see her tutu.

Geronimo '74 08-13-2015 12:07 AM

Too personal to put in a work environment IMO.
Unless you run a dance academy, I would say no.

Nice pics though.

Lovely looking lady... But no, Not appropriate for a work place.

URY914 08-13-2015 03:30 AM

I can't decide. Please post larger.

black73 08-13-2015 03:30 AM

What I find more disturbing than the pics is that you come here for advice!

Just kidding. Great pics. I say it's your office, put what you want in there

Porsche-O-Phile 08-13-2015 03:50 AM

As long as you don't hang it up in between the Playmate of the Month poster and the Pirelli girls calendar you should be fine. :p

ckelly78z 08-13-2015 04:03 AM

I am a very private person, so no, I wouldn't hang them in my work office for everyone else to ogle (fine looking lady). I agree that the last one would look good, but still remain decent.

HardDrive 08-13-2015 04:13 AM

Nope, not office material.

Yes, well I'm kind of caught in the middle. When my wife saw the collection she asked if I was going to put it in my office. She still dances and models and she's used to having people look at her, so she didn't see a problem. Her daughter saw them and she's like - no way mom! So I needed an opinion from the real world. This is as close as I get to the real world any more.

Ha! That might explain your political leanings!

Kidding, of course. Regarding pics...enlarge them and display prominently in your home. Lovely wife...Lucky man.

If it was a public office I wouldn't consider it. It's my private office and the only people in it are my wife, an occasional employee, and the cleaning crew.

I voted "no" but based on this, its probably OK. have your employees met your wife?

McLovin 08-13-2015 02:40 PM

Got any pictures of her in the garden?

recycled sixtie 08-13-2015 02:55 PM

Your daughter has raised you well. No pics of mother on wall. Each one to their own. My wife gets lots of attention as it is. Pics on wall I don't think so.

johnkszabo 08-13-2015 04:35 PM

Kind of hard to vote on this with no pictures. John Szabo

LOL! I think 126 is a step above.

I think the OP's wife looks great, but I would not post in my office. I have zero personal artifacts in my office. I separate personal with work life. I do share my background with coworkers but not every one of them and at the level I choose.

Took the pics down, probably not a bad move. Your lady is beautiful, you're a lucky guy. Based on the above, and the fact that I saw the pics earlier today when they were up, I'd say that they are fine for you to put in your office.

If it were a different kind of office with different traffic, then probably a bit much.

Craig T 08-13-2015 05:54 PM

Oh come on. Put the photos back up. You're amongst friends.

There is nothing wrong with being proud of your wife, or still finding her sexy. Putting those photos up in your office will certainly make her feel sexy, and make he secure that you're still attracted to her.

Whether or not they are appropriate for your office depends on who goes in there. Do you own the business? As long as she's not dancing on a table in a g-string wearing a lampshade, I would imagine they won't offend anybody. If you're like me, only my assistant or my wife goes in my office. I use a conference room for meeting with staff or outsiders.

Taking the pictures down off Pelican parts O.T. is sort of the final judgement on the topic of risque or not.

Thanks for the input. I took them down because I just needed some perspective, which PPOT provided quickly. The trend was obvious after a few posts.
I love the photos because she was dancing on her 61st birthday, and she is in heaven when she dances. I hung them at eye level in my bathroom. I can look at them every day there, which was what I had in mind putting them in my office. The stuff on my walls there is mostly car related. I have the steering wheel off of my first Porsche and some of the awards I've won with my cars. No pictures of family at all.

Boo! Hiss! :D

Edit: I see you posted pics... I work in a rabid PC office (employed by the state) and I see no problem with the pictures.

For reference my wife's EX pined up high school class pictures of his daughter (my SD) in his cubicle... daughter saw them and was mortified.

We bought a car last night... salesman had wedding pictures in his office (young guy, typical pictures of them kissing with the sun peeking between their lips blah, blah, blah...)

scottmandue 08-15-2015 08:27 AM

Okay, okay... not as sexy as you wife pics (and I mean that in the nicest way possible, wife's daughter is in college and took ballet so we have pictures of her all over the house).

I have this picture posted at my desk... to remind me of why I put up with all this carp.

That is the ugliest baby I've ever seen.

Craig T 08-15-2015 11:51 AM

That 3rd photo from the top is very nice. Why don't you just frame it by itself and put it on your desk standing up facing you.

vash 08-15-2015 12:02 PM

Weird. I can still see the pics on tapatalk. On the feed page.

Pretty woman! Your cup floweth over, friend.

Not risque. And also not appropriate.
