And for the record... I believe regardless of the law criminals like this will always be able to obtain firearms and body armour.
The black market for this is global. I could even buy this stuff in Aus (brand new in it's original packaging). All it takes is the right connections and money. |
Body armour is banned in Manitoba, Alberta and BC. One province in the East has legislation pending. Police are exempt and anyone who has a reasonable need for it. IE Armoured car and security personal can apply for a permit to own it.
