Rock 'n Roll Fantasy Camp
Is there only the one? I think a sit in down at the local would be a business opportunity. Who doesn't want to hit a few power cords that reverberate or rattle the doors with the kick base?
For a song or two. |

Kinda like a karaoke for instruments? But with a live band.
I always wanted to drum in a surf band (easy beats). |

I'm not sure if the ipod generation knows what real amplified speakers are. They listen to everything via mp3 and ear buds.

You actually have to really know how to play in order to do the real RNR Fantasy Camp, and it costs big bucks. I was thinking about it, as I can easily handle any of the music I've seen on the show. But I don't know if you get to pick your coach. And I'm not paying $10k to have Kip Winger bounce a basketball, trying to tell me how to keep time. Sure, it'd be so cool to hang with some of those guys. But not all those who are big rock stars are really great musicians. Plenty of them had a lot of help, studio magic and session musicians to create the songs for which they're famous. It's a cool concept and I'd happily audition for it, but not pay my own money for it. And I would not want to be forced to play the guitars and amps of the show's sponsors, but rather my own rig.
