Better part of 3 feet of snow at my house (near Rockaway, NJ).

I was out shoveling (yes, shoveling - my snowblower doesn't run and besides I need the exercise) for a few hours around noon and had 12 -24 inches then (hard to tell with the drifts).

It REALLY sucks that this was over a weekend. My wife & I probably both would have gotten 2 days off work it had been during the week.

I'm a little over 2' here, my house is a corner lot with about 200' of sidewalk I'm responsible for so snowblower is a must for me!!!

We had snow flurries just north of Jacksonville FL today. SmileWavy

It looks like a couple of feet here.

All those exclamation points made your property tip over to the side.

Porsche-O-Phile 01-23-2016 06:55 PM

I think I saw a flake or two earlier.

Nothin' here. I'm quite happy about it too. After last year I have no desire to see snow ever again for the rest of my life - one reason I'm working on packing up and getting myself outta here soon. I'm a summer person - if I want pretty snow scenes I'll have someone send me a post card from Jackson Wyoming, Aspen Colorado or Lake Tahoe. I'm really damn happy this thing is south of me and not coming here at all. Windy though!

My relatives down on Cape Cod are having a slightly different time. :p

And what's with the one beer thing? You're supposed to get at least a six in there!

I actually love snow but I also love the fact that I'm about to go for a quick motorcycle ride. :)

I have named it the "Blizaster" of 2016. I'm hoping it catches on but not before I get to copyright the word.

CURSES! someone got to it back in 2011. Oh well, onto my next million dollar idea.

20 miles North of Boston, I did not see a single flurry. Nothing, zippo, just windy and cloudy. Actually the snow line was going through south of my town on the radar. I am not complaining either. We got more than our fair share last year, and the season is far from over...Best thoughts for those south of us.

Jim Richards 01-24-2016 05:53 AM

It looks like Snowpocalypse 2016 dumped a little over two feet of snow here. It's the end of the world as we know it...;)

ckelly78z 01-24-2016 07:13 AM

Northern Ohio was sunny with 30 mph winds, no snow.

GothingNC 01-24-2016 08:44 AM

Inch of snow for me and a little over 1/2 inch of ice in Raleigh.

Power has been out since 5PM Friday, might get it back Monday evening:mad:

I grew up in Montreal. That was normal there. I remember delivering newspapers and busting through waist deep drifts and opening the door to the proverbial canadian beer fridge regularly.

26"...... Driveway clear...... No plow, so...... still home bound.
