Hipster/tattoo boy has got that all wrong. If the dog got a vote, it would be:

Let me out, I need to pee and check out my yard.
Feed me.
Let me back out, I need to take a crap and check out my yard.
Leave me to ponder my yard, pee on things and bark.
Nap.
More yard pondering, peeing and barking.
Meal two.
Back to the yard, more peeing, pooping, barking and pondering.
Bedtime.

Ha,ha,ha JR;
That's exactly what our two dogs do....old English bulldog sleeps about 16 hours a day. Gets up to pee, poop, eat and sleep. Our American bulldog is more active, she'll chase squirrels, rabbits. When she is sleeping in her dog bed, she must dream of that stuff. Her legs move, her eyes flutter and she whines. All while in a deep sleep. Funny to watch...

If you ask a dog what he wants, it's not to be pampered with potions and lotions, he wants to go roll in something smelly, crash through a muddy creek, and lick himself clean, while falling asleep in front of the wood burner witha full belly.

Dogs paws can crack and become dry. Especially from pavemet. I don't see anything wrong with putting a balm or lotion on their paws. Which is exactly what his product is for.
