Racing from the 70's

Looking for racing coverage from the 70's. Would love to find entire broadcast coverage of series. Group 5, CanAm, etc. where can I find?

Check the various race tracks such as VIR road course as most all of them have huge amounts of webpages packed with pictures and videos. One set of pictures I remember are about the Porsche powered open car that had the whole back half pop up like an air brake to help it slow down and it was raced on the east coast. For dirt track stock cars look for sites that cover their history.

There is some great Targa Florio footage on YouTube, including parts of a film about the race made in 1972. I think there is an in-car video of, I think, Vic Elford running the course in a 908, but I can't find it.

Obviously there's no shortage of clips out there. I was really hoping to find full length of entire races as they might have been broadcast....even better a whole season of a series. I need something to watch out in the garage and most of the current stuff is boring.

To make longer videos of shorter ones from YouTube use software such as iSkysoft iTube Video to copy it to your local drive since now days the internet browser does not automatically keep it. Then use software like AVS Video Editor to assemble a dozen or so together to make ones an hour or so long. These can be burned onto DVD's or copied to a solid state USB drive. Most old full length races are copy righted by the networks or whoever recorded them and are not available.

Wouldn't you think some of these would be available for purchase?....particularly since it could be made downloadable.
