Sigh....a man in full sometimes gets to a realization of his limtations. Well I went and drove a c4 with 6 speed to make sure it fit. Problem was foot box was so small coupled with my post stroke residual limitation affecting my left leg I could not effectively operate clutch.

So look....what to do? Decided to look for a beater with an auto I could play with.

Lo and behold I ran across a dinged up 89 c4 behind a lawyer friends office. It had been in a repair shop that was hit by of tornado 2 years ago....got tossed around and cracked fiberglass on drivers rear quarter. Also busted hatch glass. Shop insurance carrier paid owner and let her keep salvage.

Lawyer gave me owners number called her and hooked jumper cables to it and started up. Runs and drives. Obviously need to go thru brakes, etc.

She's took $400 for it and was happy to get it out of her life. I'm thinking Grassroots motorsports $2016. Challenge..

You take the running gear off that thing and stick it on a tube frame car you can really create a monster. I think they even have kits to do it. There is a guy that autocrosses with us that has a big go cart with an plastic Austin Healy body on it that is so fast it can alter the progress of time.

OK.....the slippery slope begins. Didnt want to run yesterday. Chased my tail.....ultimately replaced in tank fuel pump sock and inline filter.....now rumbling like a v8 should.

Back it out of my drive....brakes fai. Check fluid....27 year old plastic reservervoir crumbles to powder. Master cylinder totally.....hello, Rock Auto...one is on way.
