Red car hateraid = inexplicable and more of a reflection of the haters rather than the game!

100% truff about the "see a targa on a lift"!

I have a good friend that owns a rust-free, SC Targa, recently bought a lift, put the car on it for the first time, and immediately called me with "holy ****" details about how much the tub moved when the wheels came off the ground. Literally hinged in the middle!

Hey,
Can we please talk about the market? I'm looking to buy me a boat. It's a 2007 24 metre cat from ABA out of Brisbane. Anyone have a good market reference for one? It's a buddy deal and I want to be fair to both parties.

Matt, If you knew how the word "buddy" was defined by one of my Marine Corps Drill Instructors in 1974 you'd not use it so casually. That said, I think I know that type of boat, in which case your use of the word might well be appropriate.

I grew up sailing on the San Francisco Bay. I've had plenty of sailor buddies in my life.

Does the boat have a Porch' motor? Brisbane is nasty this time of year. Make sure you are judicial with the deal, or things can get banned....er....banged up...

It's funny what kind of associations the mind makes. This evening I walked into my local Safeway. They had perch at the fish counter. I haven't had perch in years, definitely not in this land locked desert. I bought a few filets, battered them up, and deep fried them.

Oh the memories. As a kid, before the Bay was so polluted, we used to go up to the Brisbane marina, in North San Mateo County, and catch perch off the docks. My mom used to fry them up for is whole.

And suddenly I wanted a boat, because that's where we sailed from. I don't need a boat. And definitely not some luxury party cat. Thank to me mates for ignoring my wild hair. I will stick with my kayak for now.

No doubt; you and the other Matt doing all this talk about fish, badonk-a-donks, motorboating, "Safeway", and so forth, has my mind making some freaky associations!
