Bonsai experts, botanist advice wanted

My girl loves bonsai trees and bought one today.
A home and garden variety, not some Japanese masterpiece, but still, she will try not to let it wither and die for a change...

Anybody on the board that can tell which plant it is?
That way we hope to get it the sprecific care that it needs, bonsais are picky, from what she has read...

Dear Geronimo here is a very small sample of the bonsai to grow.

This is olive. The photos are last year. (September 2015).
The age is about 25 to 27 + years.






And here one aged Bougainvillea. The photograph is January 2016.
The age of about 30 years +. (I do not remember)





These photos are an example of love, patience and joy of the result which would have to bonsai. The little tree will grow with you, will be a friend, a companion. Take care of it and it will reward you.

After many years you will understand that your character was better.
And it helped that little tree.
