The #5 car ran out of fuel? Is that what happened?

Congrats to all the teams who competed....quite an accomplishment if you were able to finish regardless of order.

Baz, the reports were that the #5 lost power.

Toyota is like the Buffalo Bills of Le Mans.

And now, is it true that the 5 car is not even going to be classified because it took too long to complete its last lap?!

I think so... they're not shown on the FIA WEC link: FIA WEC LIVE

Not sure if Toyota has made that known yet and I don't think the announcers knew based on what they said in the closing moments of the race.

Great race! I stayed awake all night watching it from my phone via the WEC app. I heard that it's mandatory to complete a cool down lap, and that's why they were not classified.

Will also be curious to see what happens with the 2nd place Ferrari (number 82 Fisichella) which got a black/orange flag for faulty leader lights. Race control told them to come in for a penalty, which would have cost them 2nd...the team told him to stay out.

Radio Le Mans' announcers just said it's confirmed the #82 will get to keep it's 2nd place in GTE Pro.

And an American driver won his class. Gustavo Menezes from LA was victorious in the LMP2 class.
