Good for you!! Those things are really expensive but would bet it's comparable to putting on glasses for the first time!!

Now add a spelling aid and you'll be all set! :D

Judging by his pics.... Byron needs glasses too.

Glad you got the hearing aids Byron. Amazing how things like that improve quality of life! Benefit is if you have noises neighbors, just take them out!

mdhearingaid dot com. $700 for two that work great. I was not going to spend $6000 like the "audiologist" / used car salesman wanted me to. Be careful. Happy hearing!

once you've worn them a while..
you will wonder how you got by without them..
upside..
you no longer get that ..
you stupid or deaf look from others..

The instruments I wear haven't stopped those looks.

Just remember to switch them off when when at the range.

Depending on the hardware and how they're programmed they shut themselves off with extreme noise. No need to wear them at the range anyway.

Yea, I took my Mother to get tested, so ended up buying 2 sets..

When I got the PRK surgery, everything was new, even though I have worn glasses since I was 5..

Doesn't help with dyslexia :p or small letters & big fingers on the phone.

Had PRK on my eyes, but that doesn't stop the tremors in my hands:(
