Garage Is Done!

Woohoo, couldn't be happier with the end result. I quit the dealer thing in June so had to make this space work, it turned out pretty good IMHO.

I'm happy with them, a local PCA guy has an Alloy Wheel Repair franchise and has done a bunch of stuff for me over the years.

Thanks! I considered DIY on the floor but ended up hiring it done and I'm glad I did. The lift is from a company called DMS Lifts out of MO, I don't believe they make them but they do brand them so I'm not sure who actually makes them.

I added the 3rd car garage planning on a lift, so I managed almost 11' ceiling height. I also did the high lift tracks when I did the initial door install and my opener is mounted flush to the ceiling. I can lift the top car about 5'6" off of the ground, so it's easy to walk under.

That looks fantastic Matt.

(But seriously, is a garage ever really "done"?)

Hey Matt, be careful with those heavy ramps on on the lift. One of those would wreck anything it fell on.....

I lean mine against the wall where they don't take up any space.

It looks good!

The division made it something a whole lot better than average IMO. Well done!

Awesome work! How does the garage door work? It looks like it's open, but there's a car on a lift where I thought the door would open into?

Great looking garage. Trying something like that myself. A couple of questions. what is the ceiling height over the stacked car lift? Is the garage door a standard height or did you need to increase it? If door is standard height say 7'-0", did you need to change the door tracks? Thank you

My son is about to do his garage. Right now it's a totally blank canvas. Thanks for the inspiration Matt!

Ceiling is almost 11', but you can install a lift with much less. My neighbor has a Shelby Supersnake and Lotus Evora on one, I don't think his ceiling is much over 9'. Door is standard but with extended tracks that bring it all the way up next to the ceiling. Also a standard opener but mounted directly to the ceiling, with a piece of angle iron to extend down to the door.

Love my truck, it's an Ecoboost too. It has the factory max tow with 3.73 gears, I have added a catch can, AFE Stage 2 intake, AFE bladerunner intake pipe, and Five Star 87/91 octane tunes. I have a 3" catted downpipe and updated tunes that should get done this weekend. It hauled well stock, but now it's a monster and tows my boat like it's not even there.
