Once a study of John Prine, Kristofferson , Lenord Cohan , Hoyt Axton, and Lee Hazlewood , for a start, then the ears will be open.
You will not hear 4th grade rhymes from these guys.

Yep...and they can bring it live too. Isn't the same without Jason in the mix, but Cooleyville doesn't suck either and Muscle Shoals is literally in Patterson's blood :)

Marc Maron did a podcast a couple of years ago with Patterson Hood, and it dropped right after I watched the Muscle Shoals doc on Netflix
