Chairman Mao way back in the 1960's said that World War 3 will be between the Industrialized Northern Nations and the 3rd World Nations read that as Islamic Nations.

To think that the war on Terrorism will be a quick and easy thing is to be naive. This war is really a clash of civilizations or a part of ones civilizations radical elements or even a clash within a civilization. By reading the above article one can get the depth of the antimosity that is directed against the West as represented by the USA. It would be foolish to think that the other Western nations can escape the storm.

The United states best course of action is to be aggresive and keep the ball on the Islamic side of the playing field. That means we need to win the hearts and minds of those sitting on the fence, while doing everything we can to eliminate or discredit the radical elements in those societies. To do that the West must use military force judiciously, and to use the Wests economic and media resources as well. However there are weapons (Nuclear weapons) and economic interests (oil) which the West cannot let be taken over or controled by radical elements. In the case where that is likely to happen the West must be prepared to use all the forces it has at it's disposal including Nuclear weapons. Believe me the people of the USA will not like it if their electricity is turned off, or they can't get gasoline to drive their SUV's. Then we as a nation won't care whose toes we mash... Those my friends are the aims of the Wests adversaries.
