Every state is beautiful....

Been to CA many times the beaches Hermosa, etc. SD a few times....sailing in the harbor and in the Pacfic on a '72 restored wooden schooner...beautiful state, but just not me. Fl....lived there a few years...fishing the Oklawaha, St. Mary, lower St John's rivers, sailng, beaches Ponte Vedra, St. Aug etc, sailing/fishing in the Atlantic, the Okeefeennokee swamp is majestic and unique....but I'll take NC over both :).

Indeed Baz not a bad way to see the country.
Airstream makes a nice Merc sprinter based camper.

Traveling in a camper van is much more low key in your presents than a larger motorhome, especially with car in tow.
Much easier to park at those surf spots along the way too!

Those sprinters are dear tho. Baz.

I can't seem to get a pic to load. But you have seen pics of my 345 classic with SC in tow. That whole rig cost me quite a bit less that even a well used Sprinter.
So there is that to consider.

Cheers Richard

Mahalo Richard.....yes I have seen your rig which is very nice! Props to you for the 911 tow as well. Not that I have anything against Subies....lol....

Here is a Sprinter (Internet pic) by Benz that looks like it would be very practical. Like I said, I'm a ways off from that trip so just something that would be cool to do down the road...in the meantime I can live vicariously through you, Denis, and Hugh.

But Baz, you OK? Three surfers in Florida are attacked by sharks within just two hours at popular beach | Daily Mail Online That's your home break isn't it?

Yo Bill...

Thanks for asking...lol... Still here...and still have all my toes! There's tons of men in gray suits around here...there always has been! If it helps keep our breaks less crowded....so be it! :D

Hope all is well with you and yours, mate....

All's well around here thanks. Spring here but we just had the "storm of the winter", so not so much fun. Huge amounts of sand for me to shovel, but hey, think of all the gym fees I'm saving :)
