The Giants just got hot. Right on schedule.

Doyers lose the home field advantage, morons. I doan think they will beat the Nats. SF made the playoffs, kill me now....

What I don't get is the "Blow Jays" are starting Marcus Stroman today - a guy the "O's have roughed up in the past with their big bats & they generally beat hell out of righties. My pick would've been the lefty - Francisco Liriano who has had decent success against Baltimore - but then again, what do I know? - "Ah jus plays da percentages".
Could be interesting as both teams are 'long ball' teams & Joey Bats seems to be finding his groove at the right time of the year. Play ball!

Cheers
JB

I think the Cubs are going all the way. Provided nobody gets hurt. My Pirates di well against Arrietta the other night but I think it was a fluke. The Cubs knew they were going to the show so they didn't work real hard that night. I'm rooting for the Cubs. At least it's our league and division..

Cleveland and the Cubs would be great..

I was happy to see Stroman get the nod. As an O's fan!

Not so sure about Tillman instead of Ubaldo. I know Ubie has been a shaky mess most of the year but he's grooving right now AND he takes some time to get settled so he's not the guy you bring in to fix a bad situation in the 5th.

I hate Bautista but he owns our pitchers. Hope we can just play ball tonight.

That Toronto fan that threw the water bottle at the outfielder needs to have the crap kicked out of him.
Edit: It was a beer can not a water bottle. I cannot believe that the people around this idiot didn't point him out to authorities.

Agreed. Someone should of thrown him at the water bottle.

Go Cubs - they have been a fun team to watch this season. I hope they go deep in post season play.

Nathans_Dad 10-05-2016 06:48 AM

As a season ticket holding Rangers fan I am sure looking forward to booing the living he!! out of the Douche Jays when they come here. There is nothing likable about that team.

BReif61 10-05-2016 07:25 AM

Showalter not putting in Britton in was inexcusable.

Hawkeye's-911T 10-05-2016 08:55 AM

Damn good ball game. The announcers were decidedly pro Baltimore but it was a refreshing change from Buck et al. & their unabashed pro Jays sentiments when calling a game. Bring back Vin.

Cheers

Joe Buck? Worst thing to ever happen to post season baseball.

Wow. Sounds like you are bitter about something. :p

Heart breaking for the Mets. Thor gave it his best I think.

Bring the Giants on,,,,, got several post season scores to settle.

You must be remembering Will Clark's grand slam in '89. Should be a fun series. But the Giants are uncanny. Yesterday, the odds-makers gave the Giants the worst odds of all the teams to go all the way, at 22-1. Yet they won. Again. If they're still at 22-1, I'd like to get in on the action. The Giants have been the biggest underdogs every time this decade. They're loving the odds this time out, too.

BTW: If Thor is a god, what does that make Mad Bum?
