At least it's less than 108 years from now.

Oh, that one hurt I must say, LOL

Crunch time for the "Blow-Jays"! Fuggeddabout the 'conspiracy' rubbish & play some fargin ball!! Cleveland's pitching was better - by not much & the same goes for their hitting. Jays bats picked a bad time to cool off & it'll be over quickly if they don't climb out of their funk.

Cheers
JB

Did you watch the games? They show a strike box on the replay you know. It was BS

Hawkeye's-911T 10-17-2016 11:53 AM

That I did & if you ask me the strike zone was in a state of flux for both sides. I just think as Jays fans we noticed & were much more sensitive to the at times, questionable calls at the plate.

Cheers
JB

Quite possible.

They should of at least hit something...

There were some questionable called strikes but for the most part that big wind that hit the west coast was due to the Jay's big bats sucking....
Go Jays!

I have to admire Kershaw's work ethic the last couple of weeks. He's making the big money and is saying 'Give me the ball, I'll take care of it.' And he has. Can't ask too much more from a guy like that.

I'm thinking you might as well stick a fork in the Jays.......

You may be right but where there's life, there's hope & I think Mr. Berra's quote comes into play. Meanwhile the Jays better figure out in a damned big hurry, "how to hit a curve-ball". The Cleveland pitchers are makin a living off feeding the Jays hitters a pretty good mixture (& throwing them for strikes) to minimize the chances of (any) long ball hitters' tendency to wait on a fastball. I actually don't feel the Jays would do very well playing so-called "small ball"
Yaneverknow.
Cleveland hasn't exactly been blowing the cover off the ball & the Jays keep stranding runners. Odds are - somethings got to give. The games to date have been interesting. Sanchez & Jays will prevail this afternoon. The Cubs/Dodgers series has been fun although I think the Dodgers are going to run out of "Kershaws", then it's the Cubbies going to the dance. Hopes for a good game.

Cheers
JB

Doyers, 6-0 over the Cubbies.....up 2 games to 1....

Hawkeye's-911T 10-19-2016 09:54 AM

Your team is rollin' Joe Bob - I just hope the Jays can ride the momentum swing in yesterday's game & make a series of it.

Cheers
JB

It burns us!

Rizzo needs to get out of his slump. All season his bat has energized the rest of the line up. Bryant can't be expected to do much more than he has.

Cold Cubbies bats. Last night caused me physical pain. Not giving up though!

Same malaise befell the Jays for the first 3 games. Rizzo et al. are due to bust out.

I'm afraid that is it for the Jays (down 3-0 in the bottom of the 9th).

On the up-side, the ownership enjoyed the financial boost of having 3 game at home.

Joe Bob 10-19-2016 09:13 PM

Ewww, it was fuglee @ the ravine....10-2:(:(
