Montreal Grand Prix
Heading to Montreal in June for a buddy's bachelor party and we decided to go F1 weekend. Not sure if we are going to the race or just going to do a day at the track on Friday or Saturday for practice and the other events.
Any advice or tips for those who know the track? Do we need to get tickets in a grandstand, or can we see enough cool stuff with GA passes? We will have about 12 guys and no one is a huge F1 fan, but we figure drinking and racing is a great way to spend a day.

It's been about 25 years since I went, but as I remember it there were few to no places to see the action on the track without a grandstand seat.

Below, is a link to a rennlist thread that might help with seat / viewing options. Have fun... it will be a great time. F1 in Montreal. Best seats to watch the race? - Rennlist Discussion Forums

The Island is good but the city is GREAT! Sexy cars, great eats and incredibly lovely women all over the place. Oh yeah some racing too.
