Trust but verify?

^ Don't park your entire fleet in one place while conducting naval blockades because your sailors might die?

I've been to the Arizona once, and had a couple of classes on base. I asked my gf at the time if she wanted to go and she refused. Her reply was, "Why would I want to go there? My father was a fighter pilot in WW2." She was from Japan. Oops!

Speaking of oops I am always cautious around people whose relatives lived in Germany during WW2. My father was a Lancaster pilot who dropped bombs on Germany in WW2.

Pearl Harbor Day. If that was what it took to get the US to get involved in WW2 then so be it. Thanks to you all that died and fought for freedom. Lest we forget.
