Looks amazing. Some of the 1960's cars have the best lines....

No bumpers?

Is that a panoramic rear view mirror, or some kind of sun visor?

Beautiful car - it's rolling art.

Nope, no bumpers. I was going for the GTA look. Even welded up the holes.

Yep. Often called a wink mirror. Old school racing stuff. Works great!

Boy, do I wish I had picked up one of those before they sky rocketed..... Beautiful!!

Nice looking paint .
I'm puzzled by the mix of colors on the front.
Had thought it had a replacement front end.

So what is the story?

Cheers Richard

Back in the 60s when Alfa Romeo would race, they'd paint the nose a different color to help identify cars on the track.

On this particular car, the nose also matches the interior. :)

I bought a clip on the original mirror type at a PCA parts swap a few years ago.

About half the width of yours, tried it in my 911/Targa and my pickup truck.

I've since added a passenger side mirror and convex mirror to both the flag mirrors.

The track mirror works wonders on eliminating the trucks blind spots, so that's where it stays.

Is that green pin-stripe picked up on anywhere else?

Looks great.

One of the best balanced, most gratifying rides I have driven. A gtv with spica injection.

tevake 12-20-2016 05:23 AM

Thanks porsche356a for the color details.
That interior color does look great with the deep blue body color.

Gorgeous car, the pics show your attention to details. Nicely done.

Cheers Richard
