There were a bunch of UFC fights on a couple of weeks ago. Appeared on my local over the airwaves Fox Channel 2 Detroit station.

What I noticed is if the fighter looked like they were going to the prom or ready to audition for a Hollywood film, they lost to the no smile very focused opponent.

We will know who won by the time they enter the octagon.

First one to smile or wave to the crowd loses.

i like Rousey..i liked her showmanship. however, if i was a fighter, i would focus on fighting. no acting, no singing..keep it real.
i have visitors this weekend, or i would hit the local bar to watch the fight..

That mindset of "gotta look mean" starts early in sports. Back in the bad old days when I was broke I shot a lot of the the sports pics for little leagues and the boys almost all refused to smile. The picture was for their parents and grandparents and a smile would be nice. Nope, they had to use a "game face" and just frown or snarl. These were little kids!

Going with Nunes on this one. Nunes is a much better striker, in my opinion she has superior Jiu Jitsu skills on the ground, and she has just as much aggression as Rousey. Nunes also has no ring rust and no major negative physiological component to deal with. I believe Nunes wants to keep her belt more than Rousey wants to take it. For these reasons, on paper Nunes should win, BUT....this is a fight and they are very unpredictable. Rousey is still a dangerous fighter, but my money is on Nunes.

Didn't watch the fight, but the result and accompanying pictures indicate that Ronda still has no answer dealing with a solid striker.

However, I am sorry they put her on the same card as Hendricks and a couple other fighters that act professionally, and are likable.
I like to support most the fighters and am pretty neutral as to who wins.
I will not PAY to support the biotch Ronda.
I feel its my duty not to pay the MMA for making this mistake of billing "her" as the main event.
If she gets punched out by Nunes I think that will be the purrfect ending for her sorry arse attitude.
