We as a major civilization are one misstep away from losing a significant amount of our human knowledge, just like when the Library burned in Alexandria. How much info is actually committed to printed text somewhere in a safe, where it might survive a firestorm/asteroid/nuclear attack vs floating around amorphously on some hard drives somewhere...

I'll take hard drives over paper any day.

The Lambada is the forbidden dance. One must never forget that.

The shortest path between two points maybe undoable, insurmountable.
But we presume it has been done because it was said so.
Yet when we look at history it is so EZ to repeat what others have told us as true without further investigation.
And , if we did we would practice much hesitation.
Why are the pyramids undecorated inside?
How come people are born with 3 chamber hearts?
Or, why some have tails?
Why do they continue to call the lost treasure of Oak Island just that, when it is perfectly obvious it was a mining operation long ceased, like the old copper mines in Michigan?
If we are all from the same genetic program why is there RH Neg blood?
Late at night when most go sleeping
Bats are seeking a better way
the doors groan from the rusty hinges as I go seeking
I must find out B4 all the tomorrows become a yesterday

You must first transverse the universe.

You can't always get what you want.

The answers are out there. Seek, and ye shall find.

As someone brighter than me noted, since light travels faster than sound, isn't that why some people appear bright until you hear them speak?

Did you ever notice you never see tabs and afterburn 549 in the room at the same time?

Jim Richards 01-05-2017 07:16 PM

Hmmmm. Very interesting. Tabs was the buffet meister, and over indulging can lead to heartburn. And if it's spicy food, the burn can move further aft. Hmmm.

May I suggest taking a towel?

afterburn 549 01-07-2017 02:54 PM

Tis interesting -i asked some valid questions.
I get ridiculous accusations for answers.
If your feet are not big enough please do not wear the shoes, it makes you all walk funny.
Its not so bad, but everyone notices when children play with adult clothing.
I would hope this audience would know its boundaries.

Gogar 01-07-2017 03:00 PM

I didn't read your questions, I just skipped to the replies.

afterburn 549 01-07-2017 03:12 PM

Its ok.......I dont think there are answers.......

scottmandue 01-07-2017 03:23 PM

I thought we all agreed the decepticons built the pyramids?

afterburn 549 01-07-2017 03:28 PM

In all seriousness, They were either a people of genius minds, or they did not do it.
Being a block would have to go into place something like every 3 minutes to "getter" done in 20 years.
A Pretty awesome procedure

I have read that it was not uncommon for the Pharaoh to die before the pyramid was done (sometimes more than one Pharaoh)

It has also been postulated that the Egyptian culture may go as far back as 10,000 year.

And they worshiped cats.

Por_sha911 01-07-2017 04:34 PM

The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind. The answer is blowing in the wind.

Yet, not one of these pyramids were ever to be found decorated for an afterlife, nor any sign of a
mommy internment in any of the pyramids.

creaturecat 01-07-2017 06:48 PM

the early birds never knew how to write. they could barely communicate via speech.
the bodies were buried in the desert, taking advantage of the dry heat. the chambers were in fact, decorated. there were cats interred. side by side.
