Good thing it's cold blooded.

That beach is an Indian Jones Nightmare!

Neilk 01-31-2017 05:46 AM

That's one of the best chase scenes I have ever seen.

kach22i 01-31-2017 06:59 AM

Rough neighborhood.

Not a day at the beach.

I would say brave camera man. Is it legal to carry in Oz? How safe are the beaches?

It's not legal to carry in Aus but the video was shot on a deserted Galapagos Island.

GG Allin 01-31-2017 07:39 AM

Sorry if I missed it but what kind of snakes are those?

sc_rufctr 01-31-2017 07:46 AM

Galapagos racer snakes (Pseudalsophis biserialis or Philodryas biserialis)

constrictors, mildly venomous but not aggressive towards humans.

Great video!! It looks like they would have a hard time swallowing that Iguana..if they caught it..even with their jaws unhinging.
Snakes don't bother me nearly as much as spiders do...I don't know why.

gatotom 01-31-2017 05:03 PM

holy moly, that was awsome

Shaun @ Tru6 01-31-2017 05:10 PM

the camera guys must have thrown that poor iguana onto the beach at least 10 times to get all those action shots. :D

wdfifteen 01-31-2017 05:18 PM

I didn't need to see that. There are iguanas on the rocks near the beach outside our cabana. Haven't seen any snakes - yet.
If you need me I'll be at the bar.

flatbutt 01-31-2017 05:27 PM

I've never heard of snakes hunting in a pack. Day-um!

Oh Haha 01-31-2017 05:37 PM

I was rootin' for the iguana. "Run Forest, Run!"

Fellow Texans, these Rattlesnakes are in need of a home. They're refugees from the Hill Country pushed out by snake hunting, and feral hogs. Now, we think most of these are good snakes and won't bite you, but we are sure some of these will bite you without provocation. We can't tell you which snakes in the bunch are the ones that will kill you because they all came in together and we can't tell which is which! Some of the biting ones were actually trained to seek out anyone and bite and to hide among the good ones. Our federal government has promised to figure it out, so don't worry.

So who wants to give all these snakes a good home?

The iguana looks like it was bitten but shrugged off those snakes. If they're poisonous, then it won't die later? And, what makes those two iguanas think they're safe on that rock? Those are some kind of devil snake that freaking can jump and chit.

911boost 01-31-2017 06:49 PM

Ohhhh helllllllllll no.

That right there is the stuff of nightmares.
