Good job.

Wish the bulls would win each and every time and then go after the crowd. Seriously, WTF is up with these sorts?

My father and mother back in the 1950's used to drive down to Spain from the UK. It was my father's idea to watch the bull fights. My other was along for the ride. Most of the time the matador would win. I think it is fairly unusual for the matador to get that badly injured. Not my cup of tea. Anybody watch a bullfight?

My dad was stationed in Spain while I was in college. I watched a bullfight from beginning to end one day on TV while there one summer. It's pretty horrible. At least in the one that I watched, as soon as the bull gets into the ring, he's looking to leave. As they start to screw with him (there are a bunch of guys in the ring to start with, including guys on horses with spears), he's still looking to leave. He didn't get aggressive until they had really screwed with him for a long time and he realized that this was not something that he was going to be able to run away from. Then after they have messed with him a while, and he's really bleeding, they kill him (at least that appears to be pretty quick). Then they drag him around the ring (in the one that I saw, behind a tractor). I was not impressed.
I'm OK with the bull winning. The video in the article actually wasn't that gory. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...562c0ea1cb.jpg http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/...04_634x451.jpg http://angryblackladychronicles.com/...ador-gored.jpg http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/...9763950367.jpg |
Are the cutting off the matador's ears and giving them to the bull?
|
Despite what Hemingway said about it, bullfighting is a cruel, cowardly sport.
Good for the bull. Sad thing is, it will get killed anyway. |
I went while in Marbella, it is culture and heritage...kind of something you need to see while you are in the country. The bull is going to lose no matter what. It was a great event to photograph.

No interest whatsoever in seeing animal cruelty for sport or entertainment...it's a sick effing heritage imo :(.
You want to hunt (and eat), no problemo... |

Those are great pics! That Matador was brave to stand there with his back to the bull in some of the pics! |
Hemmingway was a DB nutjob.
I root for the bull. |
A big Texan stopped at a local restaurant following a day roaming around in Spain ...
While sipping his wine, he noticed a sizzling, scrumptious looking platter being served at the next table. Not only did it look good, the smell was wonderful. He asked the waiter, 'What is that you just served?' The waiter replied, 'Si senor, you have excellent taste! Those are called Cojones de Toro, bull's testicles from the bull fight this morning. A delicacy!' The cowboy said, 'What the heck, bring me an order.' The waiter replied, 'I am so sorry senor. There is only one serving per day because there is only one bull fight each morning. If you come early and place your order, we will be sure to save you this delicacy.' The next morning, the cowboy returned, placed his order, and that evening was served the one and only special delicacy of the day. After a few bites, inspecting his platter, he called to the waiter and said, 'These are delicious, but they are much, much smaller than the ones I saw you serve yesterday.' si senior sometimes the bull wins |
So the matador has a red cape to attract the bull.
Wtf would he have a red stripe up his backside? What did he think was going to happen? |
^^^ Blood
|
The way the matador was prancing around, how do we know he didn't enjoy it? Not that there is anything wrong with that.
|
It is the motion of the cape, not the color.
