Road Rage Karma

Sheriff: Sumter woman killed in Tuesday wreck died from her own road rage – Sumter Citizen

Road rage and not wearing a seat-belt. Get ejected while crashing while trying to force the other car off the road. Happy ending. One less idiot on the planet.

Yep, but I wonder about the full story since we can only know one side of it. Hopefully, the story we got is true and the one that passed was the true instigator and not the other way around. There's nothing in the article about corroborating witnesses. The only real evidence that I can think of is if the damage is on the driver's side of the caller's car an the passenger's side of the dead woman's car, and that's probably not really 100% conclusive.

I can only suspect an allusion to race.

Granted, I've seen plenty of stupid folks doing stupid things regardless of race, sex, etc....

Or "victim"?

Deceased or decedent is probably more appropriate given the circumstances.

Gogar 03-31-2017 08:50 AM

She is the victim of "death", which is the only thing proven about the story so far.

As such, it's written properly.

No one really knows yet who the 'victim' of the altercation was.

speeder 03-31-2017 09:45 AM

Article is horribly written.

"Tragic and avoidable incident..."

Says who? It might have been a good killing. :)

At any rate, when you see words like that in what's supposed to be a news article, it's garbage.

ckelly78z 03-31-2017 02:23 PM

Probably a good thing that there were no witnesses.

Now don't tell me it was a head on crash!

OK just read the linked article. No head-on --- but guess it's true about her 'fearlessly confronting a problem'!

In the same article another story:
