The responses here are about what would be expected. Summary: 911's are great; Honda's are ordinary. Maybe he did post this question on an S2000 forum and in that alternate universe he got different answers.
Good luck,
Dave
Nope, same answers. LOL!

That is exactly what I think. I loved my 88, but these prices are stupid. The 993 peaked a while ago and has since come down, the same will happen with these.

I could be wrong, but that's my thoughts. Tough decision for sure.

Just noticed you're keeping both, smart move!!!! Congrats!!! Any pics of the S2000????

Looks like the S2000 purchase was a wise decision. One similar just sold for $71,500...

S2000's in great condition are rare, demand has gone up the past year based on what I have seen. They do not make cars like it any longer and I do not expect that to change, I am keeping mine.

Think about this, a Boxster cost nearly double what the S2000 went for in 2004-2009, today in similar condition and mileage the Boxster cost significantly less used. The S2000 has aged much better IMO.

Great cars!!!! Still not an Air Cooled 911, but great car none the less.

Last odometer reading before tucked away in storage.

Glad you kept both! How's the S2000 treating you?

When I buy older cars nowadays, I now buy with the intention of keeping for life... I've been tempted to sell my 240sx for a ridiculous amount of money, but my friends have talked me out of it (all my friends that sold their older car has regretted it). Next need to find myself a nice AP2 S2K or a CR!

The hardtop came with mine, I’m glad it did. I too am shocked how much they go for, crazy.

Mine is Sebring Silver, I want the front spoiler you have, can’t find them in this color anywhere, I might buy a different color and have it painted.

Not sure if you and I have the same color, I went to the local Honda dealer, three days later I had a prepainted front spoiler, perfect match!

I think yours is Silverstone. Those are still available, but I might give that a try!!!

Wish I still had my 88 911 Coupe to go with it like you have, loved that car.

Really enjoyed the Honda this summer, partisipated in a few autocross events.
It's really a fun car to drive.

I too usually have the intention of lifetime ownership but, as stated in a previous post, if the combine sale of 911 and s2000 can put me in a Gt4 or boxster spyder ...I will have a very difficult decision to make.

I've owned both cars and they are both fantastic, though different.
Good luck, whatever your choice,
