Frankfurt zoo.
Hmm hooker and blow.
Farmers market in the main shopping center on the weekends.
There's a few interesting museums, and of course the lock bridge.

A pelican lives in Frankfurt.
Flojo?
Search for a thread, Frankfurt and main, where I roll.
Or something like that.
Maybe reach out and see if he has some advise?

Klassikstadt!!

its an old industrial brick-building transformed to a classic car center with all sort of facilities

Klassikstadt

unfortunately I'm off to Italy soon and cannot be a host to you

We're here too.

Usually when we have friends visit we take them quickly through innenstadt then out to the mountains (Taunus) and villages there. Großer Feldberg is accessible by public transit, I believe. Not the most exciting city we've lived in... :)

Along Wallstraße in Sachsenhausen there are some traditional-style restaurants, we usually go to Fichtekränzi.

There is a René Magritte exhibition at the Schirn. Quite a few museums along the river in Sachsenhausen too.

People seem to like Heidelberg. I don't know if the train to Stuttgart would take you through it. To the east Würzburg is a nice place to visit, if you want to travel a bit.

By car, the Ring is easy 2 hours each way, and you can take the scenic route along the Rhein.

I would offer you a tour of my work but the racecars are on the way to Portugal at the moment so there is not much to see actually.

Thanks for suggestions.

Is Klassikstadt open every day ?
I notice a Porsche Exhibition there that I seems to have been on today only ....

Staying at The Marriott Frankfurt.

Never heard about Klassikstadt, but there's one in Duesssldorf that is just amazing. Used to be called Meilenwerk, but I think it's changed names since then. It's probably worth a drive up from Frankfurt.

I liked the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart almost more than the Porsche museum.

Go to Wurzburg... great, beautiful city an hour or so south east.

If you take the train to Stuttgart, its really easy to get to the Porsche Museum, stop at the Hopfbahn Hoff (main train station), change to the U-bahn, and there is a stop at Porscheplatz.

Alternatively, rent a car and enjoy the fruits of the autobahn. And it's probably cheaper to rent a car. check out Sixt, they had good prices and interesting cars.

I agree with the comments about the Mercedes-Benz museum. It is a better museum than Porsche's, only the subject matter has a slightly different flavor.

Heidelberg is really cool.

The Sinsheim Museum is interesting also.

Sinsheim is awesome. Speyer is worth a stop as well.
