Genius! I love it. I've been in those situations, but fortunately, don't experience them often these days.

The older ones with the robots were classic.

When they asked me to do the intranet I said fine but that I am not a designer so it will look simple. If the didn't like it they could offer suggestions how to fix it and i wouldn't be offended because I didn't care.

I just got out of one of those meetings. I want my hour back.

"Bastard Operator From Hell"-Style Excuses

I teach a couple of Linux classes at the college I work for (based on decades of experience, not having more than an AS degree) and one of my bonus question on an exam (covering DNS and zone files and how it all relates to internet services run on Linux systems) is "Who is the BOFH? Who is the PFY? What is the excuse of the day and where did you find it? Up to 5 points for basic answers, more for anything really creative that makes me laugh."
