I dunno, the Maori, Sikhs, and many warrior cultures embellish men with longer hair (tied back or not) without any questioning of their manhood-ness.

Growing mine for Curls For Kids. They don't charge for the wigs like LOL. Your right. Mine is about 14" long now and a pain in the arse. I mostly keep it pulled back in a ponytail and about 5 rubber bands. I'm gonna kind of miss it when its gone though. Been growing it for 3 years now. But put it in a bun??? Not on your life. I think they're stupid looking.
