They also got caught importing some of the tiles valued for customs at a buck each.

So "though shalt not steal" is more of a guideline than an absolute?

Does that mean, depending on the circumstances, I can covet my neighbors wife?

Are all 10 really just "recommendations"?

Consider them mere suggestions...ideas to be bantied about...musings.

Steal? What did they steal?

Are you going to claim ignorance on the destruction of everything Christian (including people) that had been going on in Iraq?

You are confused because you take it literally.

The 10 Commandments were moral code.

Brush up on your Leviticus, try 19:11.

As to the rest of your post, it seems you are agree with me, Gods word is not absolute, just suggestions that we are free to ignore if we believe we are justified.

The hobby lobby guy fancies himself a modern day lord Elgin. The sad fact is that collectors like this are the only reason much of the early classical antiquities survived.

The money potentially going to islamists is the only argument against it.

I wonder how much Hobby Lobby paid per American serviceman that ISIS killed with the proceeds.

Compared to the hundreds of millions Obama gave the Iranians? Probably not that much.

Good argument. Assuming that HL paid ISIS for the artifacts. Did they?
