Hey Embraer, is your F355 on BaT?
|
Mna, that is a nice car. The comments, as usual, are hilarious. Some people...
|
Man, BaT is such a rabbit hole for me, I could spend hours browsing there.
|
I am a little weary of BAT, but I guess that goes for all auction sites. We have a 77 turbo at the shop that was bought on BAT and is nothing like how it was represented....
|
Bring-A-Trailer has turned into Bring-your-huge-checkbook. It's nothing like what it started as. I used to check it out daily, but haven't looked in months.
|
Lol if I was the seller I would just cancel that auction, that car is getting roasted in the comments which will definitely drive the price down. It's definitely been rode hard.
|
Many of the BaT commenters remind me of this meme. Guys who probably drive a Ford Tempo but take pleasure in tearing down others.

Did the new owner seek satisfaction from seller or BAT?

Every auction has the delusional dreamers posting "Oh, I got called into a meeting, otherwise, I would have totally bid on this!" BAT is little more than an online tire-kicker circle jerk nitpicking stuff like A/C. The comments section may have already jumped the shark. |
Ok.
I look at BaT everyday over coffee. I know this is ten years old, is a Sirens Song, etc. but for a KBB of $11.5 somebody stop me. No Reserve: 49K-Mile 2007 BMW 750i Individual | Bring a Trailer http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1499636921.jpg I am so tempted. |

I see Embraer hasnt responded, but yes thats his car! SmileWavy |
Ha! Yep..my car. I've thoroughly enjoyed the machine (as many commentators pointed out) but time to move on. Interestingly, the guy who I bought it from, is kind of reaching folk hero status. (He's a low post count pelican, too).
It'll be interesting to see how the auction goes. I'd buy my car with 44k miles, driven and maintained, versus a 5k mile garage queen that only gets rubbed with a diaper. Lots of private messages on there. Most people who bid....don't comment. |
Hm, I think I might have to bid on that depending on where it goes price wise in the next couple of days. I have loved those for a long time, and something driven and well maintained might be the way to go.
Plus, I know where to flame the PO when any little thing goes wrong. ;) |
my Buddy has a E30 M3 he purchased during the market downturn for 12K. It is pristine. He barely drives it more than around town once in a while.
He just purchased a 318is from BAT with a S14 swapped in, the car was everything they said it was and more. He loves it and is very happy with the purchase. There are some winners on there. Here is the auction page: S14-Powered 1991 BMW 318is | Bring a Trailer |

And 11pm is no excuse, my old man will text me back that late, and hes got more than a few years on you. ;) |
Good luck with the sale, pretty car. The 355 is my fave. We have a motor apart right now, but this one got filled with water from a fire hose when the showroom it was in was on fire.
