The Outlaw White Walker Porsche 356B Is A Perfect Mix Of Old-School And New

The success of the Porsche 356 at Le Mans in 51′ established Porsche’s identity to the world. It was the machine that, while started as a VW, had grown out to become a name of its own. There’s absolutely no reason to dislike the Porsche 356. It is the bedrock on which not only Porsche, but anyone who wanted to make a lightweight, simple and reliable sports car has based their formulas around. The near perfect formula would be hard to perfect, and if someone thought of tinkering around, it better be with a proper sense of things, like this “Outlaw White Walker” 1962 Porsche 356B.

Well, no direct linking and hot linking of images......................something about that site is being blocked or censored?

This re-born, re-imagined 55-year old Porsche 356B is build with keeping day-to-day driving in mind. So while from the outside, the car retains its classic appearance, there’s an updated 1700cc big bore engine that’s paired with Webber DCOE 40 carburettors.
Quotes work.

I thought it was odd a couple weeks ago when Jake had a group of posts all linking to that "columnM" site, then they all disappeared.

I suspect that he got slapped down by a moderator and this is his way of slipping back in.

I looked briefly at the site after the first post got my attention. If the bird isn't happy with his links I will avoid that site until I know more.....

Kind of off topic, but something I just put together in my head.

All the P-cars after the 356 had curved lower sides (underside of rocker panel) excluding the VW/Audi 914 and 924/944.
