It's incredibly easy for a government as powerful as ours or Russia's to do this. They debrief and threaten troops into silence who were tasked with the cleanup. Many men have testified to this (on their death bed or otherwise). You and I haven't seen the hard evidence, but some/many have. Sammy, did you listen to that guy's testimony? If so, did he sound like he was lying to you?
Did you listen to the other two? It wasn't a weather balloon. That was the cover story cooked up a day later after our military had already bragged about having a crashed saucer and it went into at least one newspaper. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1500592831.jpg |
My father was born in Artesia NM and moved down the road to Roswell soon after.
Not a big place at the time. He was there. He knew many of the people involved. He worked at White Sands missile range while in college. he worked at Morton Thyocol, Hercules, Reinhold, all sorts of aerospace and missile type-places. he worked with JPL and NASA. He worked on lots of projects that required substantial security clearances. One time I asked him directly about the Roswell conspiracy. He said "It was all a bunch of whooey. Lots of people getting caught up in the BS, looking for their 15 minutes of fame". I believe him and trust him more than anyone else on the planet. Look up project mogul. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Mogul |

And again no physical evidence. Did anyone think to slip a piece of that magic metal into their pocket? |

This is the only one I spend time with because of the newspaper story. However, as the De Grass-Tyson dude says, they can travel light years to earth and then they screw up and crash. |

Of course there were those looking for attention. But not all. Did you listen to the testimony of the mortician or not? Quote:
Just watch that mortician testimony video. Can you truthfully tell me that guy is blowing smoke? Like your father, most men from that time period were not BSers and attention seekers. They were men who had just gone through WWII and were decidedly non-BSers. Don't let recent decades' idiot fame-seekers color your opinion of all those great men of that time. |

Unacknowledged, is a recently released documentary by Dr. Steven Greer which I will watch in the next few days. You can google the trailer. The Day After Roswell by Col. Phillip Corso is a book that three of you may read & enjoy.

I believe in UFO's... as in people see flying objects the are unidentified.
As far as the pyramids and hundreds if not thousands of other ancient structures I feel it is a gross disservice to humankind and our ingenuity to think that we needed help from extraterrestrials to build them. I have watched documentaries where they figured out how to build a pyramid. And yes space is really, really big and there are a lot of planets out there however our earth won the cosmic lottery. Molten metallic core that puts out a magnetic field that deflects the suns radiation and keeps us all from being microwaved. A few miles closer to the sun and too hot for life... a few miles farther away and too cold for life. The perfect balance of chemicals, elements, water... Plus as others have stated if there is any life out there it would take hundreds of years to get to them (or they to us). |

"He is slick in his presentation and spouts nonsense that people like. The whole 'space brothers' sort of thing. Who doesn’t like the idea that highly advanced aliens have our best interests in mind. He caters to the religiosity of UFOlogy. Like all evangelists there is always a time where the hat gets passed around…time to pay good hard cash for your faith." "He claims in his youth being able to contact extraterrestrials at will through his awesome mind power of meditation. Funny now he now charges thousands of dollars for his minions to follow him into the woods with flash lights and lasers to “vector” one in on his midnight UFO vectoring sessions. Of the 100’s of UFO vectoring sessions that he took in bag loads of money for. He has not released any credible evidence of ET contact at all." "Greer also claims he has developed a ‘zero point’ energy device that can be held in one hand and is capable of powering small cities. It is supposed to be available 'real soon now', any day, right around the corner, imminently. And in the meantime you surely can invest in this technology which will make you insanely rich." "The reality here is one need not look any further than Greer (among others) for the real problem the UFO field is faced with: The charlatans , delusional personalities, and outright sensationalists who are taking center stage with their completely unfounded and often times exaggerated claims, citing of anonymous sources, and offering of not a shred of tangible evidence as to those claims."
