I wouldn't angle it since it eats up too much storage space.
My garage is 22' wide x 43" deep. You can't see the bench to the left of the green car but the lift is just close enough to walk and work between the bench and left post. If there were not shelves on the right side, a 911 would almost fit next to the right lift post. Wish my garage was 23' wide :) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1753719176.jpg |

To be clear I made a decision :D . I decided on two bays with Individual overhead doors with Chamberlain wall mount openers . The doors are 9 ' wide x 10 ' tall . My ceiling height is just under 12 ' so the door rails are fairly tight to the ceiling .
The side entry door leads into the " right bay " where I installed the lift . The lift is halfway into the garage . So far every vehicle has fit fine . The dually is tight but I rarely bring that into the bays . While this posting is old I hope it contains info that can help others . SmileWavy |
