I don't work in a nail salon but I came across this at work today. I am not sure how I could function if I were blessed with nails of this magnitude. I would on occasion run across a person with a long pinkie nail, often this was used as an impromptu cocaine scoop but I have never seen a man with nails on both hands as long as this.

Dude is going Raisin Bran on the coke if they function as drug shovels.

They are a sign of a person of leisure. You can't do much with nails like that.

Funny, jogged my memory of the book War and Peace. One of the characters who is an aristocrat stands out for having short nails like a commoner.

Now that you know about the WHY of long nails, do you know where they originated?

When I was working with the welfare system, I saw a decent number of ladies with long nails like that, but it was all of their nails.

my wife showed me pics of nails about 6 inches.
don't know how they function. my first thoughts were do they have jobs and how do they wipe after going to the bathroom.
