The way some of you feel about tattoos.... (yes I know, the excessive ones) is the exact way I feel about fat people. YMMV

Fat people with tattoos..................and psoriasis.

I've seen way too much of that, and in shorts.

No thanks.

Are Tattoos Safe for People with Psoriasis?

Any skin trauma, such as a cut, insect bite, or sunburn, can cause psoriasis-type lesions to develop. This is known as the Koebner phenomenon. Since tattoos cause skin trauma, getting one may cause these psoriasis-like lesions to occur on your skin around the tattoo.

I don't have any tats but don't mind people that do unless its on their face. That is too much.

I've seen so many people with their entire body tats what happens when they get stretch marks with a tat. I'd hate to google and see the results.

High five! Besides I'm not handsome enough to eliminate the naughty ones from my list of possibilities.

Some of you old grouchy guys must be real lookers!
:D

Great fun thread.

It apparently doesn't hurt here in the US. People without the courage to do anything worthwhile with their lives are getting them by the thousands.

I follow a lot of talented tattoo artists on Instagram, but I personally have no interest in one for myself unless it was to mark some significant event or it was based on my own artwork.

The number of poorly executed, bizarrely placed, off-the-shelf tats that I see on a daily basis is mind boggling. If I'm judgmental in any sense, it's from an artistic standpoint. I realize some are into wearing their taste, culture and history on their sleeve (literally) but I'll take a pass on that one. Better to keep them guessing IMHO.

In my family/gang/group of friends the coming of age was thru successfully rebuilding a car engine. They all thought tats were the result of a drunken dare with the wrong people.

I thought it meant you joined the Navy, got schit-faced drunk in some foreign port, and had a brilliant idea....like Fread did :)

A girl I work with has both of her children's 2 year old faces tattood on each bicep/upper arm. It's kind of freaky to see these kids staring at you from across the lunch table. I imagine that stops all amorous activity, for the fear of needing an additional tattoo.

And all to often those tat-jobs are awfully ugly! I mean, it is not a photo ...

We have talked with the kids about tats.
I read somewhere that the inc can be really dangerous. Parts of it is "stored" in the lymph nodes. Not good at all.

Be careful with that sort of thinking. Hemlock is natural and organic. Lead is natural and so is arsenic. There are all sorts of nasty substances that are natural and/or organic that are not necessarily good for you.

Like botulism and ricin. Deadly and 100% natural.
