I don't see how it would make sense for Royal Enfield, but who knows? Indians are motorcycle fanatics.

Royal Enfield doesn't have a pot to piss in. Harley-Davidson is considering buying Ducati from Volkswagen. Harley-Davidson pays its board of directors more than Royal Enfield makes in a year. VW has to pay that diesel settlement $$$ some way. Lamborghini will go on the block too. Maybe Bugatti. If it gets bad enough financially for VW, how about Ford buying Porsche. Ford already owned Jaguar and Aston-Martin and improved both companies. If Ford won't, some Indian/Chinese company will. Volkswagen Group is in trouble.
