So, Yay or Nay?

I thought premier episode was decent.

Last night, not so much. It would have worked, for anything except the second show of the season.

Thoughts?

I liked both episodes.

My wife didn't like the first one enough to watch the second one.

I thought the second episode fresher because of all the advertisements and sneak peaks the first episode received.

It just got built up a little too much.

Didn't really like the attempt at satire humor. I guess i'm used to the professionalism of Patrick Stewart in that role.

Moving to Thursday night. I kinda like it. So, if I get home from Thursday pool playing in time, I'll tune in.

I forgot this was coming and ended up missing both episodes. Oh well. I'll wait until it's on Netflix.

Warning, it still has commercials...My DVR was set to record it, but one of the football games interfered.

I watched both episodes. I had to record the two shows after it to see it because of some silly game where big guys battle over a funny shaped ball. I will continue to watch. It is a LOT better than the new Top Gear America which is just awful. I may stop recording and watching TGA because it is so bad.

meh. needs to get better fast or i'm giving up.

It's..strange... It's surprisingly funny at times, but it looks almost too good, like it is not a parody of star trek, so i can see it being a little confusing for a casual audience, in terms of positioning. But I've enjoyed it so far, it's definitely "unique". I thought it would tank fast, but rating are good...

Another weird show (way weirder than this) is "the patriot" on netflix (a depressed spy that writes folk songs and is on a mission in Luxembourg). It's absurd and yet very entertaining with fantastic scripts ! Oddball stuff...

Hoped for better --Two and through..........

It's not enough of a parody for me... They should push some more on the jokes/references/edgy stuff... Mind the officer squatting on his egg stuff was pretty funny... Wish they went a little more out there...

I had real high hopes for this one and couldn't even get through the first episode.

Watching Rick and Morty without commercials. Stupid funny, so much stuff they parody. Think the title music sounds a lot like Dr Who.

Hardly watch anything when it first airs. Too many commercials. Wait at least a full season and it will show up on the commercial free feeds.

I think it is supposed to be more a tribute of sorts, not a parody. I think it is decent, I will keep watching. The ending was pretty funny on episode two.

It is a lot like Galaxy Quest in the tribute sense.

I just saw that a friend, Shon Hedges is the editor for episode three, tonight, so I will watch it. He worked on some of the Bull shows and I liked them, we have been watching another silly syfi, People of Earth on Mondays.

So far the wife and I are enjoying it. I'm thinking it's going to be better than Star Trek: Enterprise.
