I wouldn't cut the ladder - try the 12 ft one.

There is probably a superstitious reason for not having a ladder 13 ft high.

Bet they cut them to size at the factory.

It looks 6" too wide as well. Chop and channel!!

cut with a cutoff wheel to minimize the fiber shredding
then epoxy so it is sealed
then reattach the feet and braces
