Growing up we sometimes had typical breakfast for lunch, but not for dinner very often. Pretty common to have oatmeal, pancakes, or bacon and eggs. Dad got up really early, 4:30am and left for work so we all just had cereal or oatmeal for breakfast.

I can't imagine having beer for dinner....that's just so wrong :(
