Corning resident Brian Flint told media that the suspected gunman was his neighbor, whom he identified only as "Kevin." Flint said his roommate was injured in the shooting, and that Flint's truck had been stolen.

Flint told the Record Searchlight that living near the gunman was "hell," adding that the man was a felon who had often harassed him.

"The crazy thing is that the neighbor has been shooting a lot of bullets lately, hundreds of rounds, large magazines," Flint said. "We just, we made it aware that this guy has been crazy and he's been threa

My heart goes out to the families of the victims.

This is the new normal. My kids are growing up hearing about these types of shootings on a regular basis. I always suspected that after the number of dead gets to some number "n", then something would be done. After Vegas, I have no idea how big "n" needs to get to until something will be done. Since I can't change it, other than voting my conscience, I will teach my kids how to handle a situation as best they can and harden by heart to the continued slaughter.

A felon
One of the dead had previously been stabbed by the murderer
He was discharging weapons on his property
He harassed his neighbors

The info about the shooter being a felon doesn't surprise me a bit and shooting with large capacity mags, Etc. The local PD's, Sheriffs, ETC, ALL say they are too busy to do anything about folks like that having guns.......sort of like Chicago??!!

Its not a matter of him having guns; its a guy that should still be in prison.

This shooting wouldn't happen if he hadn't been let out.

A toothless spineless justice system if it had of acted stronger when he was arrested would of prevented this.

Yes, it is sad that we continue to allow mental experiments the ability to do this.

We did. The ratio of people in Mental institutions to prisons was about 2 to 1. By percentage, the combination is similar to the percentage we put in prison alone today.

We did away with the mental institutions, substituting the criminal justice system. Add in the "homeless" issue. Most of the homeless in the USA have mental problems.

But, instead of trying to help people with mental issues, we ENCOURAGE them by promoting things like "transgenderism". Yes, we are in a crazy science experiment.

You folks didn't even mention the two people stabbed at the Mall of America on Sunday.

Where is your awareness that something bigger is going on in the US and these outrages are only symptoms?

What is causing so many people to become so aggiated that they go off the deep end?
