Personal relationship with Jesus

It depends on whom you ask,
I think health is the number 1 wealth.
Money is not the only thing however, there ain't many substitutes.

Happiness is dependent on happenings. Joy is not. The source of Joy is what Christmas is all about.

Christ Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

Joy to the world! The Lord is come Let earth receive her King Let every heart prepare Him room, And heaven and nature sing, And heaven and nature sing, And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing.

It's the little things in life.....and having the time to appreciate them. :)

This^^^^ On their death bed, nobody every wished they'd dedicated more time to their business or profession, had more money, a bigger house, or wished they'd had a nice Porsche. Almost every death bed journal or diary says they wished they'd spent more time with family and friends, worried less about work and material things...followed closely by the regret they didn't see some other part of the world.

If you don't like what your doing, retire earlier with less. If you're unhappy in your marriage...get out.

Wisdom expressed...sure takes time to learn it though.

Too many here subscribe to this, never realizing that the more stuff you have, the more stuff you have to take care of:

Seeing Christmas lights thru the eyes of your 2-1/2 year old grandson, while carrying him down a "CandyCane Lane" decorated street. I was gifted with a glimpse of Christmas again...

Good advice that has withstood 2,000 years of time:

Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

Whoever loves money never has enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
This too is meaningless.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

That's only financial happiness. The amount varies with the individual and the overall lifestyle they prefer.

I've found true Happiness several times over the years. Eventually, she lost interest and moved on........

Gaining enough perspective to appreciate the problems that you don't have, and the blessings that you do have.

RKDinOKC 12-19-2017 09:34 PM

True happiness is an attitude.

Problems> It's not the lack of problems, but rather having the skills to deal with the problems life throws at you. -that's the good stuff.:)

I seem to recall a warm gun having something to do with it.

True happiness for me boils down to the three pillars of;

Food, Family, and God

(Not necessarily in that order...)

If you have FU money your can then focus on everything else.

People think that having money fixes most problems. It doesn't. What it does do is give you choices that your didn't have before.
