I’m interested in giving it a try. In Ohio possession of less than 100 grams (1/4 pound) is a $150 misdemeanor. For a grower it’s not clear if they measure the whole plant as yanked out of the ground or the projected, dried, useable amount. One plant is all I would grow, and a whole plant can weigh over 1/4 pound, so I’m not sure of the legal status.

I have no personal experience...but know this much. Think of it like an oak tree producing acorns...it depends if someone like fint is calling the shots, loading the scales, and doing the media announcements, or a rational person in LE...without an agenda.

ive grown from time to time over the years from seed and it's been a crap shoot always outside. ive had them stolen from my yard on two occasions so ive moved them to buckets that can go indoors if im leaving for any period of time. ive also simply planted in a bag of supersoil on my motor dolly and another cart deal I have. I have never used lights or in door grow set up.

I may try again this year with some higher end seedlings or clones for a greater chance at a female plant. it can be unnerving in late august/September when they are set for harvest and you have to worry about theft. they are a hearty plant, but my suggestion would be a secured or safe location, start with good seeds that are either for indoor or outdoor specifically. the indoor strains tend to go to bud quicker and stay relatively small where as the outdoor strains tend to be bigger and take a longer grow period.

I went to college at Humboldt in '70-'71 in Northern Cal. and got high with Professors and learned a few things. Not a lot. Just a few things. Growing was one of the things!

Like I stated earlier, at this point in life I'm not interested in smoking or eating or drinking anything to get a buzz now. Been there, done that.

LOL, I don't partake in any recreational use of anything other than the a nightly glass of Cabernet or the occasional Vodka with cranberry.

I think some of the shops sell clones. The growers say growing from clones is the only to do it. In fact, if they see a plant coming up with seeds, they rip it out so it doesn't cross pollinate?
They actually are kind of a pretty plant right up until they bloom and start stinking. I wouldn't mind growing one if I could stop the bloom.

That test is mighty sensitive, would not risk it.
