Auto Interior Cleaner
I am looking for a seat cleaner, cloth seats, that works great but doesn't smell like chemical or scented flowers Any suggestions?

Use your shop Vac and rinse with water post scrubbing. Smells pretty ok.

Stains or routine cleaning? For stains the best I have found is aerosol Spot Shot. For regular cleaning I’m a big fan of Tuff Stuff on carpet and cloth.

This is the best stuff I have found. It is concentrated so you just mix the strength to your needs.

I use Tough Stuff but it really leaves a chemical smell in the truck for days. The cleaning is spot cleaning. Especially on the drivers seat!

So on the no smells thing,
What if something has been used to clean every surface in a car, that the cleaner has a smell not liked? Last edited by Tervuren; 02-15-2018 at 06:13 PM.. |

A few good cleanings with another product should help a lot. I have also used a deodorant fogger in really nasty cars, you can find them in the detailing section of most auto parts stores or Walmart. The fogger is good because it also gets into the HVAC vents.

You can mix a really mild solution of Woolite, or anything you want, and put some in a garden sprayer. Use that to mist your interior a section at a time, and work it in with a soft horsehair brush. Take a strong wet/dry shop vac, and use the crevasse tool to suck up moisture on every inch of the surface. You can mist on a rinse coat and suck that out as well.
You then buff the surface with a soft, dry bath towel. You can go out and buy a spot carpet cleaner that will do the same thing, but this is how it is done. They will have special cleaning solutions near the spot cleaners, and they will have these machines at every Sam's Club and Walmart in America for under 100 dollars. |

(I've posted some of these before in my W140 as a daily thread)
This works! It comes with cleaning fluid that you mix with water. ![]() ![]() Before ![]() After
