Sorry for your loss. That is an amazing photo.

An era of real gentlemen; sadly nearing it's end.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Your dad, and your uncle, helped save my country and liberate a continent.

They have my thanks.

WPOZZZ 03-15-2018 12:34 AM

Sorry for your loss. You have some great longevity genes in your family!

Their time has passed and along with them their sensibilities. These were men who put it all on the line to fight for what they believed in.

Wow, I actually can agree with something that Tabs said

Wonderful photo.

berettafan 03-15-2018 05:42 AM

you don't see respect like that very often these days.

Baz 03-15-2018 06:16 AM

Thanks for sharing and God Bless!

You have much to be proud of.

My Dad, who passed away at age 48 of a brain tumor, was a 20 year Navy vet who also served in WW II and retired as a Lieutenant. I wonder if they knew each other. Dad would have been 98 this month.

Please give your uncle a hug and handshake from us.....

You should be very proud. I'm proud for you.
So much dedication and sacrifice so the rest of us can have it so good.

Thanks to both your dad and uncle from us up here in Canada!

Great photo!!

Please tell your Dad that a complete knucklehead of a Navy veteran, 37 years his junior, would have been honored to be his Shipmate, hopeful to have met his standards.

As well: Fair winds and following seas to your Uncle, SC.

They would both recognize the same level of excellence, sacrifice and service that those serving today, around the world, exhibit.

Their legacies are being honored.
