If your only real complaint is the view from you dining room window...put in one of those glass window boxes that extend out the window space with shelves for plants and nic naks.

My brother and his wife did that for a kitchen window and keep the sheer drape liners closed on the breakfast room window lets in light but really can't see anything. Neighbors weren't wacky, wife just didn't like the view of brick wall and window into neighbor's house.

KC911 has it right...the husband wishes she would kill him. The two of them have massive shouting matches and trade f-bombs. They are in their 80’s I’d guess. The old guy has told my contractors he married the wrong woman, and that he locks himself in the basement office in his house when he can’t go outside to get away from her.

I would install a motion activated sprinkler for that strip of ground. It works great to keep deer out of our yard.

Or just does the level headed people recommend, buy her some flowers, apologize for getting off on the wrong foot, and then set up the sprinklers.

Buy the husband a beer when you see him outside. Based on her actions towards him, being friends with the husband will drive her nuts. :)

And it sounds like he deserves the beer.
