Took a few months longer than anticipated, and still have a few parts to install, but the carrera is back on the road after repainting at the home/shop. Chromabase base/clear. Welded flares, new headliner, carpet, door panels and dash. Opted for a smooth decklid, original tail is repainted and hanging on the wall.

Cleared out the garage and hung plastic.

Use my trusty devilbiss gun and several air water traps.

Follow Freddy’s steps for application.

Oh yes cut and polish.

Wet sand 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, then polish with a whool bonnet and cutting compound, then a soft pad and #2 polish.

I would think it would be pounds per square inch of finished fender.

Heggy's is just a very few miles south of me. I have never been there and always thought Harry London was the only player in the area. Guess not.

I did have a guy bring me a big bag of high end mixed nuts this last Christmas which were divine. All I remember is he got them from a place in Canton/North Canton.

I'll ask him next I see him.

Mothers side of the family is native to the area since 1800’s? Heggy’s is a family tradition. We get it shipped in during the winter.

Hooked up with the guy who gave me the bag of mixed nuts. He's the boss of Davey Tree at my pole barn industrial park compound. I fix stuff on their little trucks. The F650's. I won't touch hydraulics on the tree boom trucks and he wont let me.
