Fix door or get a new one?
The right door on my '66 was hit long ago where it meets the fender, at the bottom. It was pushed in about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. A previous owner built it back up with bondo so it would be flush with the fender, which was also bondo'd. For my restoration I've removed the bondo and would like to pull it out to make a proper repair.
But how do you pull it back out? Since the outer door skin is welded to the inner, it seems like it would be hard to pull both the inner and outer door out together. What's the trick? If I could find a used door in good shape that would be easiest, I suspect. But they're hard to find. I'd post pics, but my phone no longer emails pics.

original door is worth saving... if it is original... how to fix depends on many variables

I'd like to save the door. Should I try to bend it back if I remove the door and whack away at it with a BFH?

I would find a good metal worker to have that issue addressed correctly. Lots of resources here. TheMetalSurgeon being one of the best if you have seen his work.

Finally got the pic. The door is pushed in at the lower fender (the fender is off the car, obviously) A friend has a small jaws of life device that may work.

I cant make out the damage... maybe a different angle and definitely more light. " jaws of life" … epinephrine and ringers... watched to much rescue 8 as a kid....
