Converting a 911SC to 930.

Guys,

I have just purchased a 911SC and would like to convert it to a turbo look with the wide body.
I have seen 2 companies making the rear quarters and front fenders ie gtracing and werks911.
I will be glad for any assistance on which is the better way to go and way forward.

Many thanks
Arden

If you add trying to do a rsr or backdate the 930 flares are close but technically wrong with the rsr. I agree go metal versus fiberglass. I know a supplier in Europe who distributes the correct metal flares to some of the big shops in the US. I was planning on placing an order soon and if interested you can save on some shipping. DM me if you have any questions

This is an ‘80 SC with a bit of backdate going on. Essentially 930 arches added with some bespoke profiling required at the front of the front arches to meet the non impact bumper. Purists will vomit further as it’s an Aston Martin black..

Whatever you decide, I hope you go with steel 930 flares on all 4 coroners or don't do it.

I am planning to go wide as well. I was considering bolt on flares like the better bodies or GT-racing, but neither have the right wrap under that I want.

Also I think that in the end I will be happier with steel 930 flares. I was planning to source 930 fenders and then I was thinking steel rear flares, (Dansk maybe)

Does this plan sound about right?

What kind of nose piece???
IROC or 964 or?

IROC has least amount of space for an oil cooler though
