paint chipping /crack in bumper

when I removed my valance i found that I have a crack of chipping paint on my lower bumper. There is no dent
would it be possible to prep and paint the 5 inch area and have it blend? or am I looking at taking the bumper off and paint the entire bumper? I am very particular and like everything just right! car is in excellent condition.

For a seamless result, consider removing the bumper and painting the entire unit. This ensures a perfect color match and finish.

painting the entire bumper decision

I removed the bumper to sand cracked areas I noticed that there more than a few cracks throughout... Not only the underside. Im deciding whether to sand out the areas and leave the unaffected painted areas alone except.. and sand the clear coat (1200 paper) off then bondo the affected areas, sand and prime those areas OR take your advice and shoot the whole bumper. Are you recommending that I sand down the whole bumper to the metal, bondo, sand, prime and paint? FYI I am using paint shop mixed / matched spray can, clear coat as well. Thanks
